The third version of the Global Business Form successfully concluded today in Panama, gathering public and private-sector leaders from throughout the Latin American and the Persian Gulf regions. The event, the theme of which was “New Hubs, New Regions”, sought to explore the perspectives of amplifying economic cooperation and the forging new alliances between both parts of the world.
A total of 17 commercial promotion organizations from throughout Latin America leveraged the GBF platform to present investment projects in their respective countries.
The forum also included a series of sessions focused on the recent political and economic changes in Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, and Panama, in addition to the commercial and investment potential of the aforementioned markets -–a potential that remains largely untapped.
The two-day forum (April 9-10) was held at Hotel Westin in Playa Bonita, located just outside Panama City. It was organized by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, an entity that operates 10 international representation offices around the world, including two offices in Panama and Brazil. Other entities involved in the event’s organizations were the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and The Economist Events.
