Visit Dallas is pleased to share that it has received the globally recognized Destination Marketing Accreditation Program (DMAP) designation from Destinations International and has been reaccredited for the next eight years. DMAP accreditation highlights Visit Dallas’ commitment to industry excellence among destination marketing organizations (DMOs) around the world.

“Destinations International, the global association for destination professionals, is the gold standard in the industry, and DMAP reaccreditation is another feather in our cap at Visit Dallas, serving as a visible industry distinction that defines quality and performance standards in destination marketing and management,” said Craig Davis, Visit Dallas president and CEO. “We are immensely proud of this achievement and all it means for Visit Dallas in the destination marketing industry.”

The accreditation program requires a destination organization to successfully comply with over 100 mandatory and voluntary standards that span a variety of performance areas to receive the designation of DMAP. The standards cover nearly all aspects related to the management and marketing of destination organizations including governance, finance, human resources, sales, communications, destination development, and research.
