Panama’s aerial connectivity has become more relevant for the region and the world thanks to the “Hub of the Americas” –one of our main fortes when choosing us as a destination for your upcoming event. The said connectivity has extended even farther across the globe with Asia’s addition (China) to our destination list. Likewise, the quality and size of our MICE facilities have exponentially improved with the opening of the Panama Convention Center in early 2022.
It is important to underscore that this connectivity would not be possible without the expansion of Tocumen International Airport, whose Terminal 2, with its state-of-the-art airplane design, entered into service in 2022. Within a few months, the extension of Panama City’s metro system that leads to the airport will be fully operational for the benefit of locals and visitors alike.
The country exhibits an excellent geographic location in the heart of the Americas, which translates into shorter travel time for your events’ participants. To date, we offer direct flights to Europe through Iberia, Air France, KLM, and Turkish Airlines, and to the USA with United, American Airlines, Delta, and our flag carrier Copa Airlines. The latter manages the “Hub of the Americas,” with 80 direct flights throughout North, Central, and South America. The other airlines that provide service to Panama are Avianca, Air Canada, Conviasa, Aeromexico, Cubana, Avior Airlines, SBA Airlines, Laser Airlines, and Aruba Airlines.
