Spanish airline and Panama’s PROMOTUR sign marketing agreement for European markets

Panama’s Tourism Marketing Fund (PROMTUR) and the Spanish airline, Iberia, recently signed a marketing agreement with the purpose of strengthening Panama’s visibility as a tourist destination in Europe.

The agreement includes, among other things, an ample editorial and advertising coverage in the airline’s “A bordo” in-flight magazine; exposure in specialized media outlets; coverage in the airline’s social media accounts (which attract nearly 350,000 followers,) and digital marketing campaigns on the site, www.iberia.com, which receives an average of 500,000 visits per day.

The marketing of Panama, which will take place in 20 European markets, will be carried out through special air-fare campaigns, in addition to fam trips for media companies from Spain and the rest of Europe.
