The Panama Canal
The Panama Canal, one of the world’s Seven Wonders of modern engineering, is a mandatory stop for all visitors arriving in Panama. It features two visitors’ centers, a museum, and a maritime simulator. From atop its terraces, it is possible to see transiting vessels. Both visitors’ centers are open daily. Tour operators also offer full and partial Canal transit experiences, which allow tourists to get a close look at the operation of the locks, locomotives, and related activities.
One of such companies is Panama Marine Adventure.
