ICCA – stronger than ever – is delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with the Luxembourg Convention Bureau, ushering in a new era of professional development within the global business events industry. This strategic partnership establishes an exclusive International Centre for Advancement (ICAI) of the ICCASkills certification programme in Luxembourg, fostering enhanced skills and expertise among industry professionals.
The collaboration between ICCA and the Luxembourg Convention Bureau underscores a shared commitment to elevating industry standards and promoting capacity building. The ICAI in Luxembourg will serve as a hub for delivering on-site training programmes to individuals aspiring to become Certified International Convention Specialists (CICS) or Certified International Convention Executives (CICE). This long-term project positions Luxembourg as a focal point for advancing professional competencies across Europe.
“Our groundbreaking collaboration with the Luxembourg Convention Bureau is a pivotal step in expanding the reach and impact of ICCASkills globally,” stated Senthil Gopinath, CEO of ICCA. “Designed by our industry for our industry, we are fully committed to the continued success of ICCASkills. This dynamic new partnership empowers professionals in the business events industry to achieve excellence through certified training, ultimately contributing to the growth and success of the sector and enhancing their own personal and professional credentials. It reiterates again ICCA’s leading position as a global industry leader and influencer.”
The ICCASkills certification programme is designed to offer comprehensive and specialised training to individuals engaged in various facets of the business events industry. By providing the opportunity to earn CICS or CICE credentials, the ICCASkills programme equips professionals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel in their roles and give the industry a renewed forward impetus. Certification will also enhance the commercial value of ICCASkills graduates to their organisations.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with ICCA in establishing the exclusive International Centre for Advancement of ICCASkills in Luxembourg,” commented François Lafont CEO, of Luxembourg Convention Bureau. “This partnership aligns seamlessly with our vision of promoting Luxembourg as a prime destination for knowledge and skill enhancement within the business events sector.
