Food District Bistro & Bar

There is a new and trendy culinary option in Panama City. It’s known as Food District Bistro & Bar, located at the Holiday Inn Express, in the heart of the banking and hotel district.

Miguel Lagarda, the hotel’s General Manager, describes the new venue’s concept as “…the perfect fusion of great flavor and good times” that offers a Latin-based menu inspired in cultural influences from throughout the region, in addition to an innovative and creative selection of beverages and house cocktails.

Food District’s dishes stem from the creativity of up-and-coming Panamanian chef Joshua Morán, a kitchen master with over 15 years’ experience at prestigious local restaurants. “It is a privilege for me to create and innovate with flavors at Food District. Our focus will be to highlight our mixture of local ingredients with the best Latin American cuisine,” he explained.

Guests will be able to enjoy a number of special promotions and activities, such as the restaurant’s executive menu, offered from midday onwards, and its happy hour (Mondays through Fridays,) from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
