FIEXPO prepares major MICE events for this year

Attention, MICE-industry members! This year, FIEXPO will host two major international trade events in Chile. They are the Workshop & Technical Visit (March 23-26) and the 2020 Motivation Luxury Summit 2020, which has been scheduled for October 11-15, 2020.

The first of these, the 2020 Workshop & Technical Visit, will take place in Santiago, although the actual site was yet be announced as of this issue. The main purpose of the event is to help MICE-industry destinations to better position themselves with the aid of a carefully selected group of 30 Hosted Buyers, in addition to cultural and leisure activities.

Throughout the event, a series of lectures by international experts will be offered, in addition to a business roundtable (March 24) to foster interactions between the private sector and destination representatives.

The event’s guest buyers are selected based on the destination’s interests, as well as on its strengths and infrastructure. It is expected that fifty per cent of the buyers will represent international associations in search of host cities for their international conventions. The remaining 50% will comprise corporate-market companies and incentive-travel organizations.

The Motivation Luxury Summit 2020, on its part, will take place in the Chilean Patagonia, and will offer companies and destinations from all Latin America a plethora of real opportunities for business and networking.

The event has been especially designed for the luxury incentives’ travel sector and will attract 50 exclusive, highly-qualified guest buyers from the United States, Canada, Europe, and Mexico, in addition to 50 keynote speakers on luxury incentive travel topics.
